JOHANNESBURG - The Midrand and Hatfield Gautrain stations are now operational.
Gautrain said the stations were affected by a power failure on Thursday morning due to a catenary wire that broke.
The entity’s spokesperson Kesagee Nayager said their bus services were used to transport passengers between their four affected stations.
She also mentioned that they were experiencing a 20-minute delay on the north-south line of their stations.
"I am pleased to announce that the power has subsequently been restored between Midrand and Hatfield stations. I wish to use this opportunity to thank our customers for their understanding and to use this opportunity to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused."
