Attention Ekurhuleni artists!

The Ekurhuleni Arts Showcase takes place on Saturday (29 March) at the Butcher 2.0 in Daveyton under the vibrant theme of "30 Years Of Democracy Celebration".

Hosted by Inkwenkwezi Creative Agency, this event aims to provide a platform for multidisciplinary artists from the City of Ekurhuleni.

"...it's our way of providing a platform to local artists in order for them to showcase their work, gain exposure, and to build confidence and their customer base, to develop their skills and be remunerated for their work in order to promote sustainability."
 - Ayanda Qairo Gwele, Co-Founder of Inkwenkwezi Creative Agency

Gwele says the showcase rests on three pillars: educating the public, showcasing different forms of art, and providing small businesses a chance to sell their products.

"Our intention is to empower the arts and the creative enterprises through the provision of business opportunities."
- Ayanda Qairo Gwele, Co-Founder of Inkwenkwezi Creative Agency
"This is our way of making sure Ekurhuleni is put on the map when it comes to art."
