Racist Adam Catzavelos is now approaching the director of public prosecutions regarding the jurisdiction of South African law in his crimen injuria charge - as he made the inflammatory comment in Greece. Last year a viral video showed Catzavelos on a Greek island giving a parody weather report. He used the k-word as he spoke about how there were no black people on the beach.

Caster Semenya’s lawyers have announced that the Swiss Federal Supreme Court has suspended the implementation of the IAAF’s regulations for athletes with 'differences of sex development', meaning she can compete in the 800m events. The IAAF has until 25 June to challenge the ruling.

The Gauteng Department of Health is expected to receive a preliminary report on Friday morning into the circumstances surrounding the alleged abuse of a pensioner at Mamelodi Hospital. The department launched an investigation after a video went viral showing the 76-year-old woman lying on the hospital floor tied to a bench with a length of cloth.

SA National Blood Service launches drone deliveries

'We believe this will be a milestone in the history of blood transfusion, not only in South Africa, but in the entire world,' said SANBS CEO Jonathan Louw speaking to 702’s Bruce Whitfield. The drone has a range of over 100km and can travel at speeds of up to 180km/h.
