Connie Chiume Foundation says her passing does not mean end of its work

JOHANNESBURG - The Connie Chiume Foundation said the actress’ passing did not mark the end of its work.
Chiume’s family said the 72-year-old matriarch was making a steady recovery after she was admitted to a Johannesburg hospital for a medical procedure. She died on Tuesday.

The Connie Chiume Foundation's Theresa Moila thanked the actress’ friends, fans, and the film and TV industry for the outpouring of love.
"The fact that Mama Connie is no more does not mean the foundation stops. In fact, the foundation continues.
"She gave us a mandate in May when we had a board strategic planning, a clear mandate in terms of what we need to do. Whether she is here or not, we have a five-year plan."
