Amelia Anne 'Mimi' Webb is a singer and songwriter from the United Kingdom.

In October 2021, she released her debut EP, Seven Shades of Heartbreak, which peaked at number nine on the UK Albums Chart, and included the single 'Good Without', which peaked at number eight on the UK Singles Chart.

So, when Carl heard Mimi was in Cape Town, he reached out to find out how it's going.

Mimi loves Cape Town, especially Table Mountain and the beautiful vineyards.

The artist also shared that SZA is her favourite artist, while R&B is her go-to music at the moment.

Also, she revealed that if she had to karaoke, Adele's 'Someone Like You' would be her first choice.

Mimi also shared her excitement around dropping new music with fellow pop girlie Meghan Trainor.

The duo collaborated on the song 'Mind Reader', which was released on 2 May.

"Mind Reader is just a ball of energy and fun and girl power... we were just two pop girlies creating something together and, ultimately, you get something like this... We don't want to have to explain ourselves every 10 minutes. We want clarity."
