JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA has expressed its disappointment over the return of former Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Zizi Kodwa to Parliament.
He's expected to be sworn in this Tuesday, along with 58 other members of Parliament (MP) from the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party who missed the swearing-in of MPs on 14 June 2024.

Kodwa was arrested and appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court this month in connection with allegations he received R1.6 million in bribes.
ActionSA said it was unthinkable that a nation governed by the rule of law could have an individual juggling court appearances with National Assembly sittings - where he is tasked with shaping the country's laws.
"We don't want to be involved in a government of national unity that protects people like Zizi Kodwa and brings them back to Parliament despite very serious charges of corruption," said spokesperson Athol Trollip.
