Assault case against EFF's Malema and Ndlozi postponed to 3 June for judgment
Proceedings in the assault case against the EFF's Julius Malema and Mbuyiseni Ndlozi have resumed after a brief adjournment.
Julius Malema was addressing a large crowd of supporters after appearing in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday afternoon.
The assault case against EFF leader Julius Malema and EFF MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has been postponed until 6 May.
Malema and Ndlozi are accused of assaulting lieutenant-colonel Johannes Venter in April 2018 during an altercation at the funeral of ANC struggle stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela in Fourways.
Their case was postponed last year after one of the attorneys fell ill with COVID-19 symptoms.
