IFP calls for urgent debate in Parliament on SABC job cuts
The public broadcaster wants to retrenchment about 400 staffers, but it temporarily suspended the move last week after widespread backlash.
The IFP has now approached the Pietermaritzburg High Court in a bid to overturn Zandile Gumede’s appointment as a member of the KZN legislature.
This case is expected to be heard on 14 January 2021.
