    No 800m, no worlds says defiant Semenya

    The two-time Olympic champion extended her four-year unbeaten streak in the 800m on Sunday after cruising to victory at the Prefontaine Classic Diamond League meeting at Stanford University in northern California.

    Caster Semenya free to run, for now...

    Caster Semenya’s lawyers have announced that the Swiss Federal Supreme Court has suspended the implementation of the IAAF’s regulations for athletes with 'differences of sex development', meaning she can compete in the 800m events. The IAAF has until 25 June to challenge the ruling.

    Semenya to race 3,000m at Diamond League's Prefontaine

    The South African has won two Olympic golds at 800 meters, and has insisted she will not take medication to comply with new IAAF rules governing testosterone levels in women athletes that went into effect on 8 May.

    Kenyan runner Wambui fears testosterone rules will end career

    The 24-year-old is one of several star female athletes affected by an International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) ruling this month that requires women with high levels of testosterone to take medication to suppress it.
