Latest Semenya ruling doesn't affect appeal, says lawyer

Caster Semenya was appealing the IAAF's new regulations which force athletes with differences of sexual development to reduce their testosterone levels by taking medication.

    Semenya accuses IAAF of using her as a 'human guinea pig'

    The athlete is locked in a bitter dispute with the IAAF over the federation's rule requiring women with higher than normal male hormone levels to artificially lower their testosterone to compete in races at distances of 400m to the mile.

    Caster Semenya free to run, for now...

    Caster Semenya’s lawyers have announced that the Swiss Federal Supreme Court has suspended the implementation of the IAAF’s regulations for athletes with 'differences of sex development', meaning she can compete in the 800m events. The IAAF has until 25 June to challenge the ruling.

    Semenya to race 3,000m at Diamond League's Prefontaine

    The South African has won two Olympic golds at 800 meters, and has insisted she will not take medication to comply with new IAAF rules governing testosterone levels in women athletes that went into effect on 8 May.
