Three suspects accused of breaking into President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala farm will find out whether they’ll face criminal charges.
Imanuwela David, Froliana Joseph and her brother Ndilinasho face charges of burglary and theft of $580,000 in cash.
The Modimolle Regional Court, in Limpopo, will hand down judgment regarding their Section 174 application on Friday.
After presenting more than 20 witnesses, the State has rested its case in the Phala Phala burglary trial.
However, immediately after that, lawyers for the three accused filed Section 174 applications.
They are seeking to have the matter dismissed, arguing that the State has failed to prove its case against them.
