Sibiya claims evidence suggesting he received antelopes or impalas from Matlala ‘AI’

Suspended Deputy National Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya has stuck to his guns and denies receiving any antelopes or impalas from Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala, despite evidence and voice messages suggesting otherwise.
Sibiya vehemently denied the allegations on Monday, as he was back before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry for the fourth day to provide evidence.

He was also at pains while attempting to explain the damning evidence, as the inquiry heard a play-back of a recorded conversation about Matlala delivering antelope to his property.
“She selectively chooses portions that she thinks could only address what she wants to achieve but also deliberately choosing to ignore the fact Matlala raised the issue that I have a problem with these recordings - this is not my voice; it was AI generated.”
Sibiya told the commission that he was never interested because live game and impalas were too costly to maintain.
“What's the point of keeping animals you are not selling, and you are not eating just to keep them when you are spending more than R12,000 a month? I realised it was not sustainable.”
