Emergency services responded on Tuesday to a structural collapse at a building site in Sea Point, where three people were injured.
The Community Improvement District says Metro Rescue, Fire and Rescue, and multiple ambulance services were dispatched to the corner of Main Road and Conifer Road.
Sea Point City Improvement District spokesperson Heather Tager stated:
"Just after 3 p.m. this afternoon, scaffolding collapsed at a building site on the corner of Conifer and Main Road, Sea Point. All emergency services responded. There were three injuries. Two individuals were taken down, strapped with a crane, and the third, who was not badly injured, was taken to ground level and taken to the hospital. All emergency services have now left the scene."
