Lavender Hill high learners face disciplinary action after drug discovery

Three Grade 10 learners from Lavender Hill High School are facing disciplinary action after an unidentified substance, believed to be drugs, was found on the school premises.

The provincial education department says the matter was reported to the police on Friday, who have taken the substance for testing.

"The school has engaged with the parents concerned, and disciplinary processes will now follow in line with departmental policy," said the department’s Bronagh Hammond.
