Light drizzle overnight has helped firefighting efforts in Pearly Beach, where officials said the fire has now been contained.
Crews are moving through burnt areas, conducting mop-up operations, patrols, and monitoring for flare-ups.
In Stanford, firefighters remain actively engaged, carrying out controlled backburns at De Koude Vlakte, where the perimeter remains extremely hot.
Flare-ups remain a concernhere due to dense alien vegetation.
Authorities have confirmed that some structures have been lost but said the full extent of the damage is still unknown, as detailed assessments and investigations will only begin once all fire lines are fully secured.
Attention is also turning to the impact on farming communities where vast stretches of land have burned and damaged water infrastructure.
Overstrand Mayor Archie Klaas has appealed to the community for donations of essential feed and watering equipment for animals and farmers in Pearly Beach and Stanford.
