Three people have been shot dead and one wounded in Nyanga.
the attack occurred on Christmas Day, at a residence in Mplangeni Street when two unknown gunmen opened fire.
The three victims who succumbed to their wounds are estimated to be between the ages of 25 and 40.
Police Spokesperson Andre Traut said that the Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the matter.
"SAPS strongly condemns the senseless shooting that claimed the lives of three people and left another critically injured in Nyanga on Christmas Day."
