Three people reportedly die in major crash near KZN’s Frere interchange

Three people reportedly died in a major crash involving a light motor vehicle and fuel tanker near the Frere interchange in KwaZulu-Natal.
 
Responders took extra precautions at the scene of the accident due to the truck's highly flammable cargo.
  
"There are multiple deceased persons on scene. One critically injured person is currently under the care of IPSS medical advanced life support paramedics,” said IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson Sam Meyrick.
