A final report into serious governance, administrative, and operational weaknesses at the College of Cape Town will be presented to Minister of Higher Education Buti Manamela next Friday.
Manamela appointed a team to probe accusations of misconduct and abuse of power made by staff members against the institution's CEO, Mhangarai Muswaba.
They're accusing Muswaba of assaulting staff and awarding a R46 million contract irregularly.
The Higher Education minister's spokesperson, Matshepo Seedat, said once the Manamela receives the final report, it will be tabled before Parliament.
"Indeed, Minister Manmela has received an interim report from the stabilisation and governance support team that he appointed according to section 46 of the Continuing Education and Training Act to assess challenges, particularly governance challenges at the College of Cape Town."
