Western Cape police say arrests are yet to be made in a case of crimen injuria lodged against a volunteer at Eastville Primary School in Mitchells Plain.
It is alleged that the accused exposed herself to learners and made inappropriate comments about their private parts.
The accused is believed to be a member of the school governing body and a volunteer at the school.
She is also accused of teaching learners an inappropriate song during sexual education.
Western Cape Education Department spokesperson, Millicent Merton: "A complaint about an SGB member who also volunteers at the school has been reported and is being investigated. These allegations are very concerning and counselling support will be made available for any affected learners."
