The Gauteng government is launching a campaign aimed at combating substance and alcohol abuse in all communities across the province.
Premier Panayaza will launch the Tswa Daar campaign at the Mehlareng Stadium in Tembisa on Monday.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to save lives, restore dignity and build a healthier, safer Gauteng.
The launch will also include the departments of education, social development and human settlements.
"At the launch, various services will be available, and this includes medical assessments, affidavits for rehabilitation admission, identity document applications, outpatient treatment, as well as the profiling for job and training opportunities aimed at assisting young people.
"So, we are urging and inviting parents, community members, religious leaders, businesses, NGOs, and all residents of Gauteng to come. Please join us as we try to break the cycle of substance abuse and drug addiction," said the spokesperson for the Gauteng provincial government, Elijah Mhlanga.
