Here’s when you can collect your social grants next month.

SASSA confirms November grant payment dates

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has confirmed its grant payments for November 2025.

  • Older Persons Grant: Tuesday, 4 November 2025
  • Disability Grant: Wednesday, 5 November 2025
  • Children’s and all other grants: Thursday, 6 November 2025

The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant is not paid on the same day but rather in batches.

SASSA also reminds all new applicants of its mandatory biometric enrolment in an effort to curb fraud.

From 1 September, all new grant applications require a fingerprint or facial scan
