The ad hoc committee probing police corruption has resumed in Parliament, where discussions shifted to calls for Democratic Alliance (DA) committee member Dianne Kohler Barnard's recusal.
Members of the committee want her removed after she was named by Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi for allegedly mishandling classified intelligence information.
The discussion started late on Tuesday night and continued on Wednesday morning after the conclusion of Mkhwanazi's evidence in chief, led by evidence leader, Advocate Norman Arendse.

The KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner will give further testimony later on Wednesday morning when he's questioned by MPs.
The first day of the hearing was filled with high drama and lengthy delays because MPs questioned the submission of a supplementary affidavit instead of an original.
Members also clashed over the recusal of Kohler Barnard from the committee.
During the Madlanga Commission, Mkhwanazi had accused her of mishandling classified information, which led to attacks on Crime Intelligence.
He repeated his claim before the parliamentary ad hoc committee on Tuesday.
"The honourable member forgets that she took an oath before South Africans in Parliament not to divulge the secrets of government."
African National Congress (ANC) chief whip Mdumiseni Ntuli led the call for her recusal.
"So we would like the DA and the member concerned to consider withdrawing her membership from the committee to protect all of us."
The DA's Ian Cameron said Kohler Barnard, who was not present on Wednesday, has not been recused yet and they're awaiting a legal opinion.
