The South African Weather Service (SAWS) says residents across Gauteng can expect cold to warm weather conditions throughout the week and well into the weekend.
The weather service says the northern parts of the province will experience afternoon showers and thundershowers, while the southern parts of the country can anticipate partly cloudy conditions.
Senior forecaster Tokelo Chiloane said isolated showers can be expected in parts of Vereeniging from Friday, including the weekend.
"It will be partly cloudy some days, especially on Thursday and Friday in some parts of the province, not necessarily the entire province, and in terms of rainfall, we are looking at a 30-percent chance of afternoon showers and thundershowers for the rest of the week."
