The Gauteng High Court battle between Johannesburg City Power and the Hawks has been postponed to Thursday.
The matter was due to be heard on Tuesday, but was postponed to allow the Hawks' legal team time to file their answering affidavit.
City Power is asking the court to declare recent search and seizure operations at its headquarters unlawful, claiming the warrants used were invalid.

Over the past two months, the Hawks have raided City Power's offices twice as part of an investigation into questionable contracts worth more than half a billion rand.
City power spokesperson Isaac Mangena said it's disappointing that the Hawks' attorneys were not ready to proceed.
"We have always been ready for this matter to be heard today. Unfortunately, the respondents are not ready today. I think that is worrying because we thought they had urgency in terms of the execution of the warrant."
