A mother accused of selling her two-year-old son is expected to return to the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Keneilwe Shalaba and her co-accused, traditional healer Sbokoane Khoanyana, are facing charges of premeditated murder and human trafficking.
Shalaba was arrested in November last year in connection with her son’s disappearance.
Khoanya was subsequently handcuffed this year after pointing out where the child's body was buried.
Shalaba and her Khoanyana return to the dock for DNA results of the child.
The boy's body was dug up on the side of the road in Bekkersdal after he went missing in November 2024.
Khoanyana led police to the scene when he was arrested in May this year.
He faces an additional charge of being in the country illegally.
