Slight petrol price increase as diesel drops

The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources has attributed the latest petrol price hike to several factors, including international petroleum product prices and the rand/US dollar exchange rate.
department says the Rand appreciated on average against the dollar during the period under review compared to the previous one.
Motorists can expect moderate adjustments to the price of petrol and diesel effective Wednesday.
The price of petrol is increasing by between 1 and 8 cents a litre., putting the price of both grades at R21.48
Meanwhile, diesel users will see some relief of between 8 and 10 cents a litre.
Illuminating paraffin decreases by 11 cents a litre.
