The case between CODETA and the provincial government has been postponed several times since the implementation of the taxi route and lane closures.
The delays were due to additional court papers still outstanding.
CODETA wants the court to reverse the Western Cape Mobility Department's decision.
But the provincial government won't budge untilCODETA and THE Cape Amalgamated Taxi Association (CATA) resolve their feud.
The rival taxi associations are at odds over operations from Mfuleni and Khayelitsha to Somerset West.
However, CODETA argues that before the measures were put in place, it was operating on these routes peacefully.
