Cape Town motorists are reminded of a planned road closure on the elevated freeway outbound between Walter Sisulu and the N1/N2 split on Sunday.
The closure, which runs from 4am until midday, is to allow for maintenance checks on the electronic traffic messaging boards which provide real-time alerts to drivers.
MMC for urban mobility, Rob Quintas, said the closure will also affect Herengracht street and FW de Klerk Boulevard.
"Please drive with caution, follow all signage, traffic officers’ directions, and plan your trips accordingly. We thank residents for their patience as we carry out this important work to keep Cape Town roads safe and moving," said Quintas.
