CT police offer reward for info that helps catch killers of Makhaza community leader

CAPE TOWN - Police are offering a reward of up to R50,000 for information that could assist in apprehending those responsible for the murder of a 48-year-old Makhaza man.
 
Myolisi Magibisela was a prominent community leader and activist and was directly involved in efforts to address the prevention of extortion and other criminal activities in the area. 
 
Police responded to a complaint on 23 June and upon their arrival at the crime scene, they found the body of the victim, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
 
The police's Joseph Swartbooi said the murder was being probed by serious and violent crime detectives.

"We appeal to anyone with information to please call the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Thembikile Matswa, on 082 522 2709 or Crimestop on 08600 1011 anonymously."
