JOHANNESBURG - The Alexandra Magistrate's Court has denied businessman Katiso "KT" Molefe bail for allegedly ordering a hit on DJ Sumbody.
Molefe was arrested in July for the murder of the DJ, whose real name was Oupa Sefoka.
He was later linked to the 2022 murder of another musician, DJ Vintos, who was gunned down at a nightclub in Orlando East.
Molefe was already out on bail after his arrest in connection with another hit last year.
His lawyers have used the fact that he was granted bail on new facts by the Pretoria High Court to argue that a high court had already found him eligible for release.
But the State argued that Molefe was a dangerous criminal with no regard for human life.
Magistrate Renief Boshoff ruled that Molefe failed to prove exceptional circumstances for his release on bail.
