JOHANNESBURG - The National Consumer Commission has confirmed yet another recall of certain car models from top manufacturers, including Ford and Nissan.

The news comes after the commission issued a two-page notice of the move earlier on Wednesday.

Giant car maker Ford is recalling more than 20,000 vehicles in southern Africa due to safety concerns.

This includes the Ranger and Everest models built between 2021 and 2025.

This is the second vehicle recall this month, after another four in the previous month.

In each instant, safety concerns have been cited.

Motorists are advised to take their vehicles to their nearest dealers for assessment.
