Six men are accused of the brutal murders, which claimed 18 lives at Ngobozana Village in September.

The trial is in its third week, with over 70 witnesses still expected to testify.

The crime scene expert who was part of the team that found the high-calibre firearms linked to the mass murder told the court about the night the guns linked to the matter were found in Flagstaff.

This is where two of the accused were nabbed – one of them has since turned State's witness.

The officer went through a photo album of the crime scene.

On Wednesday morning, he is set to be cross-examined by the lawyers representing some of the accused in the matter.

Meanwhile, accused 1, Mzukisi Ndamase, who is accused of ordering the hit on the victims, has since told the court that in all the witness statements before the court, he was nowhere near the mentioned scenes, as he was in jail, again maintaining that he had nothing to do with the murders.
