On Saturday, Kiara was laid to rest in Kraaifontein.
She is the first of the four to be buried.
Kiara lived with her father, Phillip, and her older brother.
She was homeschooled and has been described as a selfless, caring person.
At her funeral on Saturday, mourners paid their last respects to her, and family members reminisced about the happier times.
Among those paying tribute was Kiara’s sister, Marishka, who reflected on how she always supported her and stood by her side
“She was really a true angel, a true blessing in all of our lives. Kiara you’re gone but you’re not forgotten. Your spirit will linger with me everywhere I go.”
Preliminary investigations indicate the car the group was travelling in crashed into a tree and caught fire.
There has been no further update on the investigation into the incident.
