He father, Phillip Daniels, described her as a selfless person, who had empathy for others and planned to go into religious ministry with her mother.
Daniels said the family dog was also mourning Kiara's death.
"She also washed our dog, and put a pink scarf on for him, and this dog also doesn’t understand what’s going on now because he’s walking up and down looking for her with tears that’s coming out of the dog’s eyes - the dog was her dog."
When asked if he had any advice for young people, this is what he shared: "Yes, we discipline you in the house. We do not know what you guys do outside the house but be strong when you go out and be open-minded when you go out. Yes, we want to do things that other people do but be your own person and just do what you think is right."
