Police investigation into death of Stellenbosch University student ongoing

CAPE TOWN - Police say the investigation into the death of a Stellenbosch University student is ongoing.
 
Nineteen-year-old theology student, Chris Scheffers, was found dead inside his residence in Victoria Street, over the weekend.
 
The police's Frederick van Wyk said that officers were called out to the premises on Saturday.

"On their arrival, they were escorted by security personnel to a room on the second floor, where they found the body of an unknown male laying on his back on the bed. All his personal property remained in place. He was already deceased. No foul play is suspected. A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death."
