2 suspected linked to KZN DA councillor’s murder to make 1st court appearance

DURBAN - Two suspects linked to the murder of Democratic Alliance (DA) councillor in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN)'s uMngeni Local Municipality, Nhlalayenza Ndlovu, will make their first court appearance on Thursday.
The pair was nabbed by the South African Police Service (SAPS) political task team investigating politically motivated murders in Pietermaritzburg.
Among the suspects is a known traditional leader.
“The Democratic Alliance in KwaZulu-Natal can confirm that two more people have been arrested in the murder case of late DA uMngeni Chief Whip councillor Nhlalayenza Ndlovu,” said DA KZN leader Francious Rodgers.
He said the party hopes justice will be served for the slain politician.
“Justice delayed is justice denied.”
