MBOMBELA -The remains of the late former deputy president David Mabuza are currently en route to his home as his family prepares for his final send-off on Saturday.
Mabuza passed away on Thursday last week after battling a short illness.
His family has gathered in preparation for his funeral at the Mabuza homestead in Barbeton, Mpumalanga.

Clad in African National Congress (ANC) colours, scores of mourners join in song outside his farm, paying tribute to a man they held in high esteem.
Dozens of soldiers line the R38 highway near Mabuza’s homestead, saluting the motorcade carrying his remains.
On Friday, the bereaved family will have an opportunity to bid their final farewells before he is laid to rest tomorrow morning.
