'Catch us if you can': Lenasia businessman's kidnappers dared police to find them

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng police have revealed that one of the suspects involved in the kidnapping of a Lenasia businessman sent brazen messages, daring police to find them.
Police nabbed one of the kidnappers earlier this week and he led them to the house where the victim was kept.
Deputy provincial police commissioner, Fred Kekana, spoke to the media on Thursday as the task force scoured through the house after the businessman’s rescue.
The rescued 60-year-old businessman was reunited with his family after a frantic search for almost two months.
He was kidnapped in May in Lenasia, south of Johannesburg.

Deputy provincial police commissioner, Fred Kekana: "Yesterday the suspect sent a message: 'We learned that one of us are arrested. Catch us if you can.' And they thought that what they were daring us, thinking they won’t be caught."
Three others were arrested on Thursday, bringing the total in custody for the kidnappng to four.
