CPF chairperson Norman Jantjies said the access gangs have to illegal firearms is a concern.

"The police keep on saying that they confiscated so many firearms, yet the area is full of firearms."

Jantjies said the CPF wants a coordinated plan to bring an end to all shootings and gang-related violence in the area.

"We want to know what's your plans and then how are you going hold hands with the community to make this a safer place and what about the other relevant government departments."
