JOHANNESBURG - A fifth suspect is expected to appear at the Atteridgeville Magistrates Court on Tuesday, joining three others who are set to hear the outcome of their bail applications for a case of the theft of a R7 million transformer.
The man handed himself over to the police in Pretoria on Sunday after learning that there was a warrant of arrest for him.
He joins the others on the matter of the transformer stolen from the Laudium substation.

The first arrest of suspects in the matter began in November when eleven people were taken in; however, after some time, ten of those were released due to a lack of evidence.
Last week, three Tshwane municipal workers were arrested at their workplace for the same case and although their case is being joined to that of the suspect arrested in November, he has not appeared with them in court.
On Monday, a fifth suspect linked to the matter appeared at the Atteridgeville Magistrates Court for the first time.
The man has been identified as 31-year-old Katlego Molepo, who will make his second appearance on Tuesday morning, joining the three municipal workers.
