Cape Town police investigating robbery, attempted robbery at fast-food restaurant
In the first incident, a 42-year-old man was ordering food at a drive-through when he was hit in the face with a firearm and robbed of his personnel belongings.

CAPE TOWN - Cape Town police are investigating an attempted robbery case and a robbery case that happened on Saturday in Durbanville.
Both cases took place at a fast-food restaurant on Wellington Road.
The first victim was a 42-year-old man who ordered food at the drive-through when he was hit in the face with a firearm and robbed of his personal belongings.
The second incident took place at the same fast-food restaurant where three unknown suspects attempted to rob a woman. One suspect smashed the car’s window and demanded the victim’s belongings; however, the victim managed to drive away before they got anything.
Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg said they're appealing to the public for assistance.
“We can confirm that no shots were fired. Anyone with any information about these incidents can contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or use the mobile application MySAPS anonymously.”
