DURBAN - MK Party leader Jacob Zuma has warned that the party's newly launched youth league would be closely monitored.
The party launched its youth structure in Clermont, west Durban on Monday.
Qiniso Cibane will lead the youth wing as president, with former youth league spokesperson, Nkanteko Mkhabela, as secretary-general.
The youth wing's additional structure consists of members from various provinces.
Zuma said that the MK Party Youth League structure was well formulated, citing that he had confidence in them.
Zuma gave the league strict instructions, which included challenging what he believed were rigged votes during last year's elections.
"Now we who are old are not making noise about that, I think the youth must ask: 'Where are our votes?' Because they are there."
He has also asked the youth to stand up for what he said were oppressed people.
