JOHANNESBURG - A police officer arrested in connection with the abduction of a teenage boy in the Free State is expected to appear before a Bloemfontein court on Monday.

The 42-year-old has been charged with the kidnapping of 19-year-old Kamogelo Baukudi.

The teen was kidnapped last week after he and a friend were pulled over by two men believed to be posing as police officers.

The alleged bogus cops told the boys that their car was linked to drug deliveries and ordered them to drive to the Park Road Police Station.
