Matthew Goniwe, Fort Calata, Sparrow Mkhonto, and Sicelo Mhlauli were abducted by special branch police in 1985.
Their charred remains were found in several spots around what was then Port Elizabeth.
Mhlauli’s brother-in-law, Gcobani Zonke, who found Goniwe and Calata’s bodies, said returning to the spot 40 years later was emotional for him.
