CAPE TOWN - The search for the murderers of a prominent Cape Town taxi figure continues.
Mongi Titi was shot and killed at the Nyanga taxi rank last Wednesday.
He was an executive member of the CATA Regional Taxi Association.
It's been more than a week since Mongi Titi was assassinated.
Detectives are yet to make a breakthrough in their investigation into his murder.
Police said they're pursuing all available leads in a bid to catch Titi's killers.
They've reiterated their call for anyone with information to come forward.
The gunmen are understood to have approached Titi's vehicle at the Nyanga taxi rank before opening fire.
Titi has been described as a crucial figure in the minibus taxi industry's efforts to ensure peace and stability in the sector.
A memorial service will be held in Montana at midday on Sunday to celebrate his life and legacy.
