JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance (DA) and the African National Congress (ANC) are set to meet on Thursday for another round of talks relating to the Government of National Unity (GNU).
However before that, the ANC will on Thursday morning be holding a joint media briefing with seven other parties from the GNU, along with ActionSA and Build One South Africa (BOSA).
This group represents all the represented organisations in Parliament who voted in favour of the fiscal framework earlier in April.
The briefing will communicate joint outcomes reached by the parties following their discussions on the national budgets and other related matters.
The two remaining parties from the GNU that have been excluded from this media briefing are the DA and Freedom Front Plus, who both voted against the fiscal framework.
DA federal council chairperson, Helen Zille, said there would be a meeting with the ANC.
"We can also confirm later today, Thursday, the 24th of April, we will be meeting an ANC delegation to discuss this matter and other matters relating to the GNU."
