Soshanguve patroller killings: Suspect to appear in court

JOHANNESBURG - A suspect linked to the murder of a community patrol agent in Soshanguve is expected to appear in court soon.
Johannesburg metro police arrested the 32-year-old man after following up on intelligence received over the weekend.
Unlicensed firearms were found in his possession during the arrest.
JMPD spokesperson Xolani Fihla says the suspect is currently being held at the Soshanguve police station
"The JMPD chief of police, Commissioner Patrick Jaca, stated: 'This swift and decisive action by our tactical response unit demonstrates the unwavering commitment of the JMPD to combat serious crime and support our colleagues in law enforcement.'"
