JOHANNESBURG - Traffic flow into the Eastern Cape remains steady as holidaymakers continue to arrive for the Easter break.
The province’s Department of Transport has reported an influx of travellers on major routes on Thursday but said traffic volumes have since dwindled.
Spokesperson Unathi Binqose said there was a minor incident involving two minibuses, but no serious injuries or fatalities were reported.
He has also commended motorists for their behaviour on the roads, noting high levels of compliance with traffic regulations.
