JOHANNESBURG - Residents and businesses in Tshwane supplied by Rand Water will have to contend with dry taps to allow maintenance work for several hours on Tuesday.

This is for the upgrading of the Rosslyn North water meter from 6 am to 8 pm.

Businesses including the BMW centre, Nampak and the Rosslyn industrial area are set to be affected.

Tshwane spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said: "This essential work is anticipated to take 14 hours, from 06h00 until 20h00, to complete. The City of Tshwane sincerely apologises for the inconvenience that may be encountered due to the above-mentioned planned maintenance."
