JOHANNESBURG - Rand Water has postponed planned maintenance work to the Rosslyn North water meter in Pretoria, which was initially scheduled for Tuesday.
The essential work is aimed at replacing and upgrading the water meter.
The City of Thswane says Rand Water only announced that the decision to postpone the maintenance was due to unforeseen circumstances.
Spokesperson Lindela Mashigo says a new date will be communicated.
"The areas and business amenities that would have been affected are the following: BMW vehicle distribution centre, Inbev South African Breweries, Nampak, Nkwe Estate, Rosslyn Industrial Area and R.W. Hartebeeshoek Direct. The City of Tshwane sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused by the postponement."
